During this 15-hour course, you’ll explore \u003cstrong\u003eevery stage of making pottery\u003c\/strong\u003e - from preparing the clay to decorating and glazing your finished pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe course is divided into a total of 5 sessions (about 3hrs each):\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esession 1: learning the foundations of the process, preparing the clay and making your first piece(s)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esessions 2-3: refining throwing skills and learning how to trim leather-hard pieces\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esession 4: decorating in the leather-hard stage, making and attaching handles to mugs\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003esession 5: painting on bisque-fired pieces and\/or glazing using different methods (brush-on and dipping)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"\u003eThe sessions \u003cstrong\u003eDO NOT need to take place on consecutive days\u003c\/strong\u003e. This gives you more time to practice, work on your own creations and understand how a piece progresses from raw clay to finished pottery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe course is taught individually or for two people, allowing plenty of space for personal guidance.
